THE DEAD DANCE BALL BRINGS A ROCK ’N’ ROLL RESURRECTION TO LONG ISLAND THIS HALLOWEEN

Writer/Producer John Blaze Unleashes a Night of Live Music, Costumes, Dancing and Halloween Mayhem October 31 at My Father’s Place in Roslyn

This Halloween, the dead aren’t staying buried — they’re hitting the dance floor.

Writer and producer John Blaze, the creative force behind Scarecrow, is bringing a brand-new Halloween experience to Long Island with The Dead Dance Ball, debuting October 31 at the legendary My Father’s Place in Roslyn, New York.

Part live rock concert, part Halloween spectacle and part costumed dance party, The Dead Dance Ball is designed as a full-throttle celebration of everything that makes Halloween irresistible: music, monsters, theatricality, outrageous costumes and a room full of people ready to cut loose.

For one night only, My Father’s Place will become a gathering ground for creatures of the night as live musicians and vocalists tear through classic Halloween-themed music while costumed guests take over the dance floor.

Blaze will serve as Master of Ceremonies, leading the night’s festivities and keeping the party moving from the stage. He’ll be joined by Musical Director Paul Ranieri of Mark Wood, with featured vocalists Hanz of Hazel Gaze and Paul Mahos of New Life Crisis.

The result promises to be far more than a traditional Halloween concert. Blaze is combining the energy of a rock show with the visual spectacle of Halloween theater and the anything-goes atmosphere of a massive costume party.

Guests are encouraged to arrive dressed for the occasion — whether glamorous, ghoulish, monstrous or completely outrageous — and become part of the show themselves.

At the heart of The Dead Dance Ball is a simple idea: Halloween should be experienced, not just watched.

With a legendary Long Island venue as its backdrop, a live band onstage and a dance floor filled with the living and the “dead,” the production aims to create the kind of Halloween night people will still be talking about long after the last ghost has left the building.
