Takeoff’s mother, Titania Davenport, is still picking up the pieces following the tragic death of her son.

Last year, Davenport reached a settlement with the venue where Takeoff lost where Takeoff lost his life. She also had to navigate a separate legal dispute involving Takeoff’s father, Kenneth Ball.

According to TMZ, Quavo’s sister is now asking a Georgia court to further examine the case involving Ball, which is currently being handled in Texas.

Davenport is also arguing that key witnesses to Takeoff’s death, including Quavo and Offset, live in Georgia, making the state a more appropriate venue to handle the case.

If the case moves forward in Georgia, Quavo and Offset could potentially be called upon to testify. Their firsthand knowledge of the events surrounding Takeoff’s death could make their involvement significantly needed.

Back in 2023, Takeoff’s father sued 810 Billiards & Bowling, the venue where the Migos member was fatally shot.

Since Takeoff’s death, Quavo and Offset have also reunited in honor of their later groupmate and released music together for the first time in years. The two appeared together on Quavo’s QRÖMELIFE album on the song “Away.”
