We’re just a few weeks from the release or Portuguese black metal outfitGaerea‘s next album Loss and the band saw it fitting to release a new single and accompanying music video in the form of “Nomad”.
Released earlier today, it’s the latest single in the pantheon of songs released ahead of Loss’ release on March 20 via Century Media Records, which will be their first release under that label.
Speaking of the track, the band explained its origins:
“‘The Nomad’ is the individual who goes through life at a constant moving pace just to avoid facing oneself—physically drifting, but emotionally running from guilt, self-doubt, and a fear of becoming something to despise. At its core, it’s a confession of alienation: a nomad not by choice, but by self-punishment and inner collapse.”
