This year’s iteration of the annual RippleFest Texas looks like it’s going to be on hell of a year. Stuffed to the gills with some badass doom/stoner/heavy psych bands to cover four days out in Austin, Texas.
Slated to take place from September 17 to September 20, RippleFest Texas will again take over The Far Out Lounge and Sagebrush. And this time around, the organizers are confirming ahead of time that a fan-favorite policy is back in effect: none of the bands will have a set that overlaps another band’s set. That means if you’re at this year’s RippleFest Texas, you will have the ability to catch every single band across all four days.
In addition to the headliners Yob, Khemmis, and Greenleaf, the lineup has some other major heavy hitters. We’re talking Dopethrone, Kal-El, Witch Ripper… the list goes on. In fact, that list is as follows:
- Yob
- Khemmis
- Greenleaf
- Dopethrone
- Kal-El
- Daily Thompson
- Freedom Hawk
- High Desert Queen
- Dirty Sound Magnet
- Howling Giant
- Skloss
- Solace
- Fister
- Thunder Horse
- Rebreather
- Gran Moreno
- Robots Of The Ancient World
- Borracho
- Unger
- Blue Heron
- Witch Ripper
- Plaindrifter

- For Fucks Sake
