Following a very successful album-launch tour, Vanessa Forero is proud to present her new album, ‘Days Before’, which she was able to complete thanks to the contributions of her fans, and Kickstarter supporters.
The eleven tracks on the album album bring together the memories which have had a deep impact on her life along with inspiration from early 2000s soul pop, as well as old-school gospel. Employing big melodies and deeply personal storyteling, Vanessa Forero and her vocalists share tales of faith, love, and gratitude.
‘Days Before’ was mixed by Grammy award winning producer, Christian Castagno, who Vanessa met in the mountain village in Colombia, where she has lived for the past seven years.
Originally from Yorkshire, Vanessa Forero has been composing music since she was a child, and started working as a professional musician in 2004. Since then her career has grown to span live music, film and television, and writing for major international broadcasts, and cinema.
Outside of her life in music, Vanessa built herself a home in the middle of a jaguar reserve, in the mountains of Colombia. She has lived there for the past seven years.
