Grammy-nominated R&B traditionalist October London continues to champion his latest studio album, Love Me For Me, with the release of the sultry official music video for “Body Talk.” The new visual is out now via Death Row Records/gamma.
The cinematic visual opens with London being swarmed by adoring fans before his love interest pulls him away for some much-needed solitude. Weaving intimate, steamy moments with dynamic full-band performance scenes, the video perfectly captures the deep chemistry and sensuality of the track while highlighting the singer’s commanding stage presence.
Paired with rich live instrumentation and his effortlessly smooth vocal delivery, the record brings a sharp contemporary edge to the timeless spirit of classic soul.
“Body Talk” serves as a cornerstone of Love Me For Me. The 10-track project, produced in its entirety by Snoop Dogg and Soopafly, draws heavily from the foundational roots of R&B. By pairing organic arrangements and emotive storytelling with modern sensibilities, the album highlights London’s distinct versatility. “Body Talk” joins other acclaimed standouts on the project, including “Your Girl” and the chart-topping “Silent Treatment.”
The video release arrives during a dominant run for the rising star. London recently secured his fourth No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart with “Silent Treatment,” adding to a rapidly growing list of chart-toppers that includes “Touch on Me,” “Back to Your Place,” and “Mulholland Drive.”
His cultural footprint expanded even further this year when his single “Make Me Wanna” was selected for Barack Obama’s highly anticipated 2026 Summer Playlist. Additionally, London earned a nomination for Best Male R&B/Pop Artist at the 2026 BET Awards and delivered a moving on-stage tribute to the legendary Roberta Flack at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
Through his ongoing tenure with Death Row Records, London continues to successfully bridge vintage soul influences with contemporary R&B, introducing the genre’s rich musical heritage to an entirely new generation of listeners.
