There’s something refreshing about an artist who isn’t afraid to let the music tell the story. Buffalo, New York rising R&B singer-songwriter Ryélle does exactly that on her debut EP, ‘Led Me To You’, a five-track project that blends contemporary R&B with a deeply personal message of spirituality, growth and finding purpose.
Released July 22, Led Me To You has already begun making its introduction, but the project is one worth revisiting beyond release week. Across the EP, Ryélle reflects on the unexpected turns that shaped her life and the realization that what once felt like confusion may have actually been part of a bigger plan.
The project’s spiritual foundation never feels like an afterthought. Instead, it becomes part of the emotional fabric of the music. Ryélle approaches faith from a very human perspective—not as someone claiming to have all the answers, but as someone still walking through the process and learning along the way.
That honesty is what gives Led Me To You its appeal. The EP isn’t simply about where Ryélle has arrived; it’s about everything that had to happen to get her there.
Musically, the project is backed by a notable production team, including two-time Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum producer Herothaproducer and Billboard-charting producer/instrumentalist OGTha3. Grammy Award-winning engineer Darth “Denver” Moon handled the engineering, bringing an experienced ear to the project’s polished R&B sound.
What makes Led Me To You particularly interesting is Ryélle’s intention to create music that can exist comfortably within today’s R&B landscape while still carrying genuine spiritual weight. She doesn’t appear interested in choosing between the two. Instead, she creates a space where both can live.
