Noah Wyle and his wife, Sara Wells, are no strangers to the red carpet, especially since he began starring in HBO’s critically acclaimed The Pitt. The 78th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards are no different, with Wyle in the running for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his performance in the medical drama.

Who is Noah Wyle’s wife?
Wyle tied the knot with Sara Wells in 2014. The ERalum revealed the news of his secret nuptials to The View in June of that year. “It was beautiful. It was great,” he said while talking about his wedding. “It was a very small ceremony.” Wyle also set the scene when he opened up about the day being set at their ranch in Santa Barbara.
For their honeymoon, the couple went to Paris. In June 2024, they celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary. For the occasion, Wells posted a slideshow and wrote, “Happy 10 year anniversary, my love♥️ I would marry you again and again.” This year, Wells shared a candid photo of her and Wyle with the caption, “11 years and there’s still no one who makes me laugh quite like you♥️Happy Anniversary.”
Wyle posted an anniversary message of his own over the top of an adorable photo with Wells. “My sister asked me recently, ‘Hey Noah, how did you get such a hot wife? I said, ‘I’m funny.’ Thanks for laughing for the last 11 years. May it never stop. Xo,” he wrote.
Wells gave a glimpse inside her home with Wyle after the Creative Arts Emmys earlier this month. She posed with her husband before they left their house and wrote, “Mom and Dad went out.” While walking the red carpet together, the couple took a moment to share a sweet kiss.
How did Noah Wyle and his wife meet?
The couple met in 2011, three years before they made things official. They met at a Blank Theatre Company production in Los Angeles. Wells had previously been in small roles on Nip/Tuck and Californication. She ran a children’s entertainment company at the time.
Currently, she describes herself as an “Actor. Singer. Pancake Flipper,” on her Instagram bio. She starred recently in The Pitt Season 2 Episode 13. She played a patient who gets health advice from social media and takes incorrect dosage of turmeric.
“I know everyone, but I still sent in a tape to show them I can actually do this. We went through every rung of the ladder before I got the part,” Wells told USA Today. “[Wyle] said, ‘Just go have fun.’ He could tell I was a bit nervous because this is his sandbox. I wanted to make sure I honored the show and brought my A-game.”

Yes, Wyle was married to makeup artist Tracy Warbin from 2000 to 2010. They met on the set of The Myth of Fingerprints. They separated in 2009 before finalizing their divorce in 2010.

Wyle is a proud dad of three kids. The Falling Skies star welcomed his son Owen (born 2002) and a daughter, Auden (born 2005), with his ex-wife. He also has a daughter with Wells named Frances Harper (born 2015).
