It’s been a busy summer for MXGPU. Following their unforgettable closing performance at Primavera Sound Porto, suspended 30 metres above the crowd on a crane, the Lisbon-based duo have continued their worldwide tour, bringing their evolving sound and boundary-pushing shows to some of the most exciting stages around the globe. With festival appearances including their debut performance in Tomorrowland in Belgium, and Gardens of Babylon and, ADE, MXGPU’s momentum shows no signs of slowing down.
Following ‘the hush’, MXGPU take their new step with ‘all the love’, created to be played live for the first time at their Live Over Porto debut show where the duo played suspended on a crane at Primavera Sound Porto. “Evoking the raw vulnerability of love we knew we had a powerful and hypnotic energy. We all depend on love to survive and this track celebrates that collective feeling.”.
Their releases have also continued to find strong support from some of the scene’s most influential tastemakers, including WhoMadeWho, Chris Lake, Jamie Jones, LP Giobbi, &ME, Adam Port, Damian Lazarus and Rüfüs du Sol, with previous remix contributions from Patrice Bäumel. As MXGPU enter a new, faster and more futuristic chapter, the duo are bringing that energy directly into the live experience.
On October 10, 2026, MXGPU will transform a hidden space beneath Lisbon’s Olaias Metro station into a dancefloor for more than eight hours of music.
After three sold-out dates, a concert video suspended over the Tagus River with Live Over Lisbon, and their landmark performance 30 metres above the crowd at Primavera Sound Porto, the Portuguese duo are once again reinventing the live experience with their most ambitious project to date.
For Live Under Lisbon, MXGPU will take over Hidden Metro Olaias, a secret underground space beneath the city, creating an electronic music experience designed to happen just once. While Lisbon’s Metro stations have hosted various musical initiatives over the years, this marks an unprecedented takeover: a hidden underground space transformed into a dancefloor, with more than eight hours of programming and a concert created specifically for the location.
The choice of venue reflects MXGPU’s recent evolution. Their new material reveals a faster, more incisive and futuristic sound, with an unmistakable focus on the dancefloor. Inside Hidden Metro Olaias, that new identity will find its fullest expression — bringing music, architecture, light and atmosphere together into one unique narrative.
As part of the Live Under Lisbon experience, MXGPU have released a selection of exclusive merchandise, available now through their website. Designed specifically for the event, the limited-edition pieces can be purchased online ahead of October 10 and collected in person at Live Under Lisbon, adding another tangible element to the experience.
