Lil Durk’s father, Dontay Banks Sr., is sharing his thoughts on the murder-for-hire trial involving his son.

As closing arguments begin, Durk’s trial has been an emotional rollercoaster for those closest to him. With OTF Jam and OTF Vonnie taking the stand during the first two weeks, the testimony has made the case difficult to call.

The case centers around the alleged 2022 attempt on Quando Rondo’s life, which ultimately left his cousin, Lul Pab, shot and killed in Los Angeles. According to Jam’s testimony, he wasn’t given a reason for traveling to the West Coast until he arrived.

Once there, prosecutors allege that Durk gave orders to target Quando Rondo in retaliation for the 2020 killing of King Von.

Durk’s father recently spoke out about how he has been handing the trial, expressing his disappointment with witnesses such as Jam taking the stand against his son.

“This stuff make your stomach turn. This dude Jam said don’t nobody helped him when he got out of jail except him [Durk], the only ones that looked out for me was him [Durk]. Now you gonna sit up here and get up on the stand and be lying on him.”

As the trial reaches its final stages, Banks Sr. is standing firmly behind his son as the jury prepares to weigh the evidence and testimony presented in court.
