‘Jason Statham Stole My Bike’: Black Bear Dates David Leitch Action Comedy For Summer 2027

The David Leitch directed action comedy Jason Statham Stole My Bike will be hitting theaters on Aug 6, 2027 via Black Bear. Principal photography wraps this this week. Plot details for the film are currently under wraps, but take a guess what it’s about.

The pic reps a long-standing collaboration between Black Bear and Statham, the two recently completing filming on Guy Ritchie’s Viva La Madness which stars Vinnie Jones, Jason Isaacs, Babs Olusanmokun, Camila Mendes, Ben Foster, Jonny Lee Miller, and Rauw Alejandro.

Jason Statham Stole My Bike was written by Alison Flierl based on a story by Flierl and Scott Chernoff. Kelly McCormick is producing alongside Leitch for 87North, with Statham producing for Punch Palace Productions and John Friedberg for Black Bear. Also producing are Meredith Berg and Ethan Erwin for Beryllium Entertainment. Fifth Season and Tangoare executive producing.

Statham is one of the world’s most successful action stars, with a global box office surpassing $8 billion across his career with such major franchises as The Meg,Fast & Furious, andThe Beekeeper under hie belt.

Next up for Black Bear is the Matthew McConaughey crime feature, The Rivals of Amziah King on Aug. 14, that pic receiving a standing ovation at its SXSW world premiere in 2025. Also, there’s Spa Weekend, a female ensemble starring Leslie Mann, Isla Fisher, Michelle Buteau, and Anna Faris on Aug. 21.

Currently on Aug. 6 next year, is Disney’s untitled Bluey movie and an untitled Universal event movie.
