Todd Adelman And The Woodsmen Know Exactly What They’re Looking For With ‘Kind Of Woman (Who Makes The Morning Look Good)’

With a sound that’s as authentic as it is catchy, ‘Kind Of Woman (Who Makes The Morning Look Good’, from Todd Adelman And The Woodsmen brings with it some of the old time vibe that’s missing from a lot of country/Americana music these days.

Guitar led with vocals that are reminiscent of the likes of Don Henley, or even Tom Petty, ‘Kind Of Woman (Who Makes The Morning Look Good’ comes with a sort of belief that true expression is still what’s most important, in this world which increasingly seems overwhelmed with pointless noise. It’s real, it’s captivating; it draws the listener in and requests that you listen over and over, and then, when you think you’re done, it asks that you listen again, just one more time.

Coming together during the Covid-19 Pandemic, with all it’s fear and uncertainties, Todd Adelman And The Woodsmen was brought together by singer, songwriter, producer, and engineer Todd, who is also the founder of The Woods, an analogue recording studio, located outside Woodstock, New York. Adelman comes with more than twenty years experience, having fronted Colorado-based bands, The Love Handles, and The Country Mile, and with The Woodsmen he serves as their main songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist.

Joining Adelman are three accomplished musicians in their own right: Danny Blume on guitar, who started playing his instrument aged just eight, having discovered the music of The Beatles; Jeff Hill, on bass, who’s also a respected producer and engineer; and drummer John Valesio, who’s recorded with Kate Pierson of The B-52s, and continues to record and tour with a range of projects.

‘Kind Of Woman (Who Makes The Morning Look Good)’, comes ahead of the band’s self-titled album, ‘Todd Adelman And The Woodsmen’, set for release on the 26th of June, via Vfib Recordings.
