The King of All Media is reinventing himself once again. Howard Stern has announced that his long-running radio show will move to a one-day-per-week schedule on SiriusXM, with new episodes airing Mondays beginning September 14th. Additionally, a television adaptation of Stern’s radio show will premiere on HBO Max on Thursdays beginning September 17th.
Stern, who turns 73 in January, has been gradually scaling back his workload for more than a decade, reducing the number of weekly broadcasts while shifting away from the shock-jock persona of his early career toward a more interview-driven format.
Ahead of the transition to a once-weekly schedule, it was reported over the summer that Stern had parted ways with around a dozen staff members. SiriusXM also discontinued Stern’s second channel, Howard 101.

Going forward, Stern’s flagship channel, Howard 100, will feature Monday’s new broadcast alongside Wrap Up Wednesday, an expanded version of The Howard Stern Wrap Up Show hosted by Gary Dell’Abate and Jon Hein, as well as archival recordings from Stern’s decades-spanning library.
